A Tribute to my Little Pumpkin Head

Kalyn turned 6 months a few days ago. When she was just born I marveled at how small she was, which made me think of how small all her organs were too. Her little heart, the size of her fist, pumping blood through her little veins. Her little lungs and little stomach. I even thought about how small her intestines were compared to mine. I wondered how long they would stretch. I know it's weird ... that's why God created us to not read each other's minds. And now she's 6 months. Jason and I were just saying that in our 18 years of direct parenting, we will only have 36 six month segments ... and now we only have 35 more. Here are pictures charting her growth ...
