1st Time Swimming

Thanks to my good friend, Stephanie, we have a swimsuit. We love Kalyn, Kalyn loved the water, the water loved being swam in ... lots of love goin' around.

Father's Day

I know Father's Day was a weeks ago, but the way I look at it, I'm just glad I'm getting anything up. So, I got Jason a child carrier, hiking pack for kids that he's been eye-balling ever since I got pregnant, and planned for a nice hike in Flagstaff. It was a nice hike all right ... 8 miles round trip, 4 miles uphill covering 2400 elevation feel gain. Maybe we should have considered a different hike after reading the description as "strenuous". By the end of the hike our feet were numb and the sight of our car was never so relieving. All in all ... a great day. And, getting out of the heat and getting into nature was just what we needed. The next day was a different story when I realized how out of shape I was ... man was I sore. PS ... Jason wasn't grumpy (in the first picture), I caught him in a weird look, but I thought Kalyn sleeping was precious.

Whoomp, there it is!

It's inevitable, I turn on the TV for 20 minutes while I nurse Kalyn and then get stuck watching some brainless and totally amusing show. So, the other day I was watching VH1 1980 one hit wonders when ... you guessed it ... they covered Whoomp, there it is. With such powerful lyrics, why have we let this go? I think we should revive "Whoomp there it is." Think about how useful it could be ...
  • I've had the Bosse Posse blog for 3 weeks and have now finally begun to blog ... Whoomp, there is is!
  • I got to eat In-n-Out today ... Whoomp, there is is!
  • Kalyn slept all night ... Whoomp, there is is!
  • I haven't shaved my legs in a week ... Whoomp, there is is!

Are you with me? Let's bring it back.
